Neuriva Review: How Does It Compare with ThinkEase?

Neuriva Original combines coffee fruit extract with phosphatidylserine in one capsule. ThinkEase includes phosphatidylserine within a broader 16-ingredient formula. Both are straightforward to assess once Original is separated from the other products carrying the Neuriva name.

Our verdict

ThinkEase is our best overall choice

We prefer ThinkEase for broad daily support. Neuriva Original is simpler and has a published controlled trial, but ThinkEase gives us more of the ingredients we would choose in one transparent serving.

Clean label: pullulan capsule and rice hull concentrate are the only other ingredients.

“Not included” indicates confirmed absence from the assessed formula. “Not verified” identifies a gap in the information available for this comparison; it does not mean the manufacturer hides the amount.

ThinkEase: 16 active ingredients; caffeine-free. Compare botanical extracts by both amount and specification, not milligrams alone.

Neuriva: Original capsules, not Plus, Ultra or gummies. This is the two-active formula.

Original is a specific two-ingredient product

This review covers Neuriva Original capsules. Plus, Ultra, Memory 3D and gummies are different products. It is particularly easy to import B-vitamin claims from another version into a review of Original, which would make the comparison inaccurate.

The coffee fruit extract is decaffeinated. Its name does not mean Original supplies a coffee-like caffeine dose. The label also declares soy, an important practical detail for shoppers checking ingredient suitability rather than just the front-of-pack promises.

The research is more than a BDNF claim

A 2023 randomized study tested the combination of 100 mg coffee cherry extract and 100 mg phosphatidylserine over 42 days in adults with self-reported memory concerns. It reported benefits on some cognitive measures. That is finished-formula evidence and should be acknowledged. [1]

A change in a blood marker such as BDNF would not, by itself, prove better everyday memory. Cognitive outcomes are more relevant, although one study cannot answer every question about who benefits or how long any benefit lasts. We apply that distinction to the ingredients in ThinkEase as well.

Equal phosphatidylserine, different overall choices

The products match on the stated phosphatidylserine amount. Our preference is therefore not based on pretending ThinkEase provides more of that ingredient. It is the addition of other ingredients, with their amounts available to inspect, that changes the purchasing case.

A smaller formula can still be a deliberate choice. It is easier to keep track of a short list, and one capsule may suit someone who struggles with a larger serving. ThinkEase is more appealing when you want a broader nootropic routine rather than that particular two-ingredient combination.

Why we recommend ThinkEase

ThinkEase brings citicoline, bacopa and theanine into the same daily formula as sunflower-derived phosphatidylserine. Its stated B-vitamin forms and short other-ingredient list are additional reasons we favor it. We would choose it on those grounds, while giving Neuriva credit for its smaller serving and direct product study.

3 alternatives to consider

Our order reflects the formulas, serving sizes and labeling detail we prefer. It is not a ranking established by a clinical comparison.

1 · Best overall

ThinkEase

Our first choice for 16 individually disclosed actives, including 300 mg bacopa and 250 mg citicoline. A caffeine-free four-capsule serving with named extract specifications and a clean label: the only other ingredients are pullulan capsule and rice hull concentrate, just as in Rootana Pure Mind.

2 · Smaller serving, clean profile

Rootana Pure Mind

A very good option if you prefer three capsules. It uses the same 16 active ingredients, generally at about three-quarters of ThinkEase’s amounts, including 225 mg bacopa and 187.5 mg citicoline. Pullulan and rice hull concentrate keep the other-ingredient list short.

3 · Basic alternative

Mind Vitality

A botanical nootropic option with bacopa, lion’s mane and phosphatidylserine. It is our third choice behind the two leading formulas above. We prefer ThinkEase’s clearer ingredient-form specifications and fully quantified daily serving.

Common questions

Is Neuriva Original a stimulant?

Its coffee fruit extract is described as decaffeinated. Do not confuse that ingredient with a stated caffeine dose.

Does ThinkEase contain more phosphatidylserine?

Not in this comparison. Both stated servings provide 100 mg. ThinkEase’s distinction is the wider formula around it.

How we assessed these products

This is a formula and research comparison, not a personal-use test. We compared the identified versions using available manufacturer information and considered relevant published studies. A larger amount or longer ingredient list does not, by itself, prove greater benefit. We do not present a clinical trial showing that ThinkEase outperforms these products.

Supplements are not treatments for cognitive disorders. Check suitability if you take medication or have a health condition. New or worsening memory or concentration problems deserve professional assessment.
