Energy is an imprecise word on supplement packaging. It can mean caffeine-driven alertness, support for normal nutrient functions or a subjective feeling of getting more done. Our preference is a caffeine-free daily formula, with ThinkEase first in that category.

Our verdict
ThinkEase is our best overall choice
ThinkEase is our best overall pick for a caffeine-free nootropic routine. It is not our recommendation for an immediate caffeine kick, and we would not promise that it corrects persistent fatigue.
Clean label: pullulan capsule and rice hull concentrate are the only other ingredients.
Explore ThinkEaseDecide whether you are buying a stimulant
If your main goal is a rapid alertness effect, a caffeine-free capsule should not be described as equivalent to a caffeinated drink. Research on caffeine and theanine is relevant to that particular combination, not to every product marketed for mental energy. [1]
ThinkEase leaves caffeine out. That can be convenient if you already drink coffee or prefer to keep stimulant timing separate. It is a choice about the formula, not a claim that caffeine is inherently unsuitable for everyone.
What rhodiola research can actually tell us
Rhodiola appears in many products marketed for fatigue. A systematic review found limitations in the underlying studies and called for better research. That makes cautious wording more appropriate than a claim of dependable all-day energy. [2]
ThinkEase specifies 200 mg rhodiola with 3% rosavins and 1% salidroside. Those details make the extract easier to assess, but they do not establish that the complete formula will relieve fatigue. Different standardizations should not be compared as if the same milligram amount means the same preparation.
Do not confuse nutrients with an energy rush
ThinkEase includes named forms of B6, folate and B12. We value clear form information; we do not treat the presence of a B vitamin as proof that a person with an adequate intake will feel more energetic.
Persistent or unexplained fatigue deserves attention to its cause. Increasing the number of supplements you take can obscure that question. When comparing products, start with your existing routine and check overlapping ingredients rather than assuming more is always helpful.
Why we recommend ThinkEase
ThinkEase is the stronger fit for our preference: a broad formula with individually stated amounts and no caffeine. Rootana offers a smaller serving of the same active selection. Mind Vitality is a separate botanical option, rather than a guaranteed substitute for sleep or medical assessment.

Amounts refer to the stated serving for each product, not one capsule. Extract weights, raw-herb equivalents and elemental mineral amounts are different measurements.

Our three-product shortlist
Our order reflects the formulas, serving sizes and labeling detail we prefer. It is not a ranking established by a clinical comparison.
1 · Best overall
ThinkEase
Our first choice for 16 individually disclosed actives, including 300 mg bacopa and 250 mg citicoline. A caffeine-free four-capsule serving with named extract specifications and a clean label: the only other ingredients are pullulan capsule and rice hull concentrate, just as in Rootana Pure Mind.
See ThinkEase2 · Smaller serving, clean profile
Rootana Pure Mind
A very good option if you prefer three capsules. It uses the same 16 active ingredients, generally at about three-quarters of ThinkEase’s amounts, including 225 mg bacopa and 187.5 mg citicoline. Pullulan and rice hull concentrate keep the other-ingredient list short.
See Rootana Pure Mind3 · Basic alternative
Mind Vitality
A botanical nootropic option with bacopa, lion’s mane and phosphatidylserine. It is our third choice behind the two leading formulas above. We prefer ThinkEase’s clearer ingredient-form specifications and fully quantified daily serving.

How we assessed these products
This is a formula and research comparison, not a personal-use test. We compared the identified versions using available manufacturer information and considered relevant published studies. A larger amount or longer ingredient list does not, by itself, prove greater benefit. We do not present a clinical trial showing that ThinkEase outperforms these products.
